Holy Communion Instructions

Take the Holy Communion Online with Us This Friday

This week at our Good Friday service, we want to invite you to participate in the Holy Communion with us from your home. The Holy Communion is an ordinance given to all believers by Jesus to remember His sacrifice for us and to symbolize the new covenant.

The elements of bread and juice are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood for us (Luke 22:19-20). Communion is a testament of a believer’s faith in the atoning work of the Cross. If you are a follower and believer of Jesus Christ, we invite you to join us this Friday during our service to remember his sacrificing work on the Cross. If you have not made that decision to follow Christ as your Savior, then please enjoy the service without participating in the Holy Communion (1 Corinthians 11:23-29).

  1. Acquire pre-packaged communion elements from our church leaders at local hubs (contact your LIFE Group leaders or email hongkong@hmcc.net if you aren’t part of a LIFE Group).
  2. If you’re unable to acquire pre-packaged elements due to being abroad or other extenuating circumstances, purchase your own elements to prepare:
    • Purchase Grape Juice (any brands like Welch’s will work).
    • Purchase Water Biscuits / Crackers (any biscuit brands like Carr’s will work)
  3. Be Ready at Home with Your Elements before the Good Friday Service starts!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at hongkong@hmcc.net
